Help us Pave the Way!
Most every weekend in the spring, summer, and fall, more than 1,300 kids take the field at Portage County Youth Soccer (PCYS) in Central Wisconsin. Families, grandparents, and community members pack the sidelines to cheer them on and support local youth athletics. At PCYS, we create a positive, high-energy environment where kids build skills, grow in confidence, and form lifelong friendships.
When rain hits, our gravel pathways quickly turn muddy, uneven, and difficult to navigate. These conditions create barriers for individuals with disabilities, families pushing strollers or pulling wagons, older visitors, and even emergency responders who need reliable access to the fields. As our organization continues to grow, we must ensure our complex remains safe, accessible, and welcoming for everyone who walks through our gates. Through our Pave the Way Campaign, we will pave the main east–west and north–south pathways to provide smooth, dependable access across the entire facility.
We have set a goal of $130,000 to complete these critical improvements, and thanks to a generous grant, we have already raised $60,000. Now we are calling on families, local businesses, and supporters of youth sports across Central Wisconsin to help us finish strong. Your donation to Portage County Youth Soccer will directly fund accessibility upgrades, safer pathways, and improved emergency access. Together, we can pave the way for a safer, more inclusive experience for every child and every family.
