Season Canceled

Due to the increased COVID activity impacting schools, families, healthcare systems and communities, the CWSL Executive Board has made the difficult decision to discontinue any further fall CWSL small sided soccer games. We have consulted with physicians, local Health Departments and WYSA to help guide us with this decision.

What does this mean for PCYS and our teams?

1. All CWSL Games for this weekend are canceled and the season is over.

2. The PCYS Board has decided that practices for all CLASSIC level teams are suspended immediately until further notice. NO PRACTICES are allowed for classic soccer. PCYS teams are also not allowed to conduct any indoor practices until further notice.

3. The King of the Green Tournament has been canceled.

While we know that this is not what any of us wanted to hear and some may not agree with the decision, please keep in mind that in the beginning of September we didn't think we would even get to play any games and we were lucky to have the little bit of season that we did.

Going forward, we hope that spring will bring soccer back to the pitch. Though, we still expect it to be different than what we would consider normal, but we’re hoping to play again in some capacity.

Stay tuned!
