Registration 2017-2018

LeagueOne Registration Information:

2017/2018 Fall and Spring Registration Dates:  July 17 – 30, 2017

Registration Instructions
All players will need to create an account in LeagueOne  prior to completing their first registration within the system. In subsequent years, you may log in with your account information to register. To create an account, please click "Create Account" to get started. If you have played with our club previously, your personal information may already be stored in the database. To see if your information can be found, enter your information in Step 1 and click "Find" to continue on through the account creation process. If this is your first time playing for our club, click "Skip" on Step 1 to continue on through the account creation process.  Please make sure to double check that the information in the system is correct.  Make any necessary updates.

Please choose the registration option according to the age of your child.  If your child was born in 1997-2007, choose the U11-U18 Program Option. If born in 2008 thru 2010, choose the U10 program option.  Your child must be 7 years old by 12/31/2017 to register in the U10 program. The U10 program is called recreational in this system but this is a competitive level team for U10s.

The fees for registration and Spring 2018 soccer are $305 per player.  Fall 2017 is included in the registration but tournaments will be paid separately based on tournaments attended.  Players interested in Fall soccer must be registered by July, 31, 2017.

Family Fee or Club Fee:  An additional once-a-year fee of $100.00 per family will be charged.   If you choose to pay your fees in one installment, the fee will be assessed at registration.  If you choose the installment plan, the fee will be assessed with the second payment (see payment options below).

Payment Options:

1.  Pay in full by credit card or eCheck.

2.  Pay $130.00 now and pay the remaining balance of $175.00 on March 1, 2018.

To Complete Registration:

Payment:  Payment in full or the installment plan.

Documents:  Upload the completed documents (below) to your account in the system.

-       Medical Release

-       Concussion Form

-       Code of Ethics

Picture:  Please upload a new picture with your registration.  It must be current (within 6 months) and cropped to focus on the player's face.  This picture will be used for the club player card.  A player card will not be issued without a current photo.

Other Helpful Information:

“Playing Up”:  There is an option within registration to “play-up” an age level.  Marking "yes" to playing up does not mean you will be placed on an older team, but allows team organizers to move players as needed.  Please only mark "yes" if you are willing to have your child play up a level above if needed.

Volunteer hours:  Competitive (Classic and Select) families are asked to volunteer at least 10 hours to the organization each year, in addition to 4 hours per family during the two PCYS home tournaments.  Please check the home page for volunteering options as well as the Volunteer tab on the website.

Refund Policy:  Refund of the player fee will be made only under the following circumstances: 1) a season-ending injury occurring before the first game of the season, or 2) the player’s family moves out of the area before the first game of the season, or 3) if PCYS is unable to field a team that is an appropriate age level for your player.  There is no refund for the registration fee or club fee. Uniform fees will not be refunded once a player has received his/her uniform. Any player not complying with fee payment deadlines will have their player card pulled until the fee is paid or a payment plan is in place. Any player not in good standing at the end of a season will not be allowed to play for PCYS in future years until outstanding obligations are satisfied.

Parent Meeting:  During in the winter there will be a parent meeting.  This meeting will present information about coaches, teams, uniforms and general schedules.  It is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions and receive information.    New players will be required to attend this meeting to have their birth certificate viewed.

If you have any problems during the registration process you may contact Nancy Huspeni at registrar@pcys.net

Classic League Overview

Traveling soccer is a great environment for competitiveness and high-level skills training. Any players considering making the jump to a traveling team should be made aware of the following:

  • Traveling soccer can be more expensive than recreational soccer. It can incur costs from professional coaching,  increased practice time and travel expenses.
  • There is no guarantee of playing time. The best players play.
  • There is an increased chance for high-level development. Players looking to play in college and beyond should seriously consider joining a traveling team.
  • You will be required to try out and will be placed on a team according to ability.
  • Rules are generally more closely related to high school and college soccer.
